Prayer:  Work Smarter Not Harder! ... by Don Taylor

Just a couple of thoughts on how God is leading in my life and how I believe that He leads in the life, vision, and direction of our great church, Ni River! In recent months God has really laid it on my heart to depend on Him more for the leadership of this church and for His own personal leadership in my life. Now, I know that you would expect that to come from the pen of a guy who calls himself "Pastor." That is what I am supposed to say. But I have to admit that I have struggled in being a person of prayer and a person who depends on God to solve my problems all my life. Click here to read the entire article.

Spotlight on the Yusko Family ... by Kimberly Brumbach

YuskoWe are excited that this issue's spotlight is the Yusko family - Jason, Carrie, Camden and Kohen. Carrie has graciously taken time from her busy life to answer the following questions...
Where were you born? We were both born in Eastern Pennsylvania. Jason sooner than I was. :-)
Where did you grow up? We both grew up in a very rural area in Pennsylvania.
Where/when did you two meet? We had a blind date in December of 1996. Jason worked for my Uncle and I stumbled across his webpage and emailed him. Yes, we met via the internet. For the rest of Carrie's answers click here.
The VOICE -  A New Rush Hour Ministry ... by Joni Pauley
Rush Hour Presents a new movement bringing students together for growth in their schools:The Voice
The Voice - Can you hear it?

Do you ever wish Rush Hour happened every day? When students leave church on Sunday, they often spend the week feeling disconnected, discouraged and plain old bored. The Voice is determined to change all of that. Leaders are rising from among the chairs on Sunday, taking our vision of encouragement into their schools during the week and courageously starting prayer circles and devotions in the middle of the school rush.
