As we move forward toward seeking a permanent place on the earth for Ni River to call home the way has certainly been twisting and turning, and our patience has been tried. However, as I read God's Word and see how He led His people, that is not surprising.
 
Once again, it seems that God is taking us around a corner as we move toward establishing a home for us to worship, fellowship, and minister. The leadership of Ni River has determined the time has come that we must make a decision to move into a "temporary" permanent home. Dennis and Lori Hanberry have three children Ali 14, and twins Robbie and Katie 11. The family has been attending Ni River Community Church for the past five years. They first visited NRCC by responding to a flyer they received in the mail and were attracted by the programs offered for their children. Dennis and Lori both grew up in Northern Virginia and were born in the same hospital and lived in the same neighborhood through 1st grade. As fate would have it though, they didn't actually meet until they were 34 years old during a blind date to a Builders Holiday Ball. Dennis proposed to Lori at home. That was over 14 years ago...
