 Dennis and Lori Hanberry have three children Ali 14, and twins Robbie and Katie 11. The family has been attending Ni River Community Church for the past five years. They first visited NRCC by responding to a flyer they received in the mail and were attracted by the programs offered for their children. Dennis and Lori both grew up in Northern Virginia and were born in the same hospital and lived in the same neighborhood through 1st grade. As fate would have it though, they didn't actually meet until they were 34 years old during a blind date to a Builders Holiday Ball. Dennis proposed to Lori at home. That was over 14 years ago... | MMT Launches New Ministry by Terry Turner |
 In November 2008 Ni River Mercy with a Mission Team (MMT) launched a new ministry, championed by DeAnna Hamn. The vision for this ministry is to provide encouragement to those incarcerated who want to change in preparation for their ultimate release and to help facilitate positive change through letter writing. DeAnna started writing her father in jail at the age of eight. Then in middle school and high school she wrote a friend's brother. Currently she has five pen pals - two female and three male... Paragon Training Center located next to Wal-Mart in Fredericksburg (Central Park) is owned and operated by Ken and Rise Wood members of NRCC. Ken is also the church's Executive Administrator. Paragon is a fully air-conditioned, 20,930 square foot gym that includes karate and dance studios, party rooms, a multi-pit system, rock climbing walls, and separate areas for recreational and competitive gymnastics, tumbling, art classes, open gym and birthday parties.
