This week we're going to answer "mail." Did you know that we read the suggestions you make on articles in the knowledgebase? (Check out the screen grab on the right. The suggestions box is right above the Submit a Case link.) Some of these read more like tech support cases than suggestions on improving the article -- don't hesitate to submit a case if you need help; we don't respond to article feedback in the same way we respond to cases.
Miscellaneous - View Messaging (Article #281530)I am not getting the ReceivedMessage on the homepage. How do I get that to show
onscreen?
451: To view messages on the homepage, make sure you have the "Get Messages" Permission. To activate this, click on Admin, and then on
Assign Admin Users to Buyers in the left nav.
Select your name from the Admin Users dropdown, and check the Get
Messages box next to the buyer(s) you would like to receive messages for.
Create New Group (#281808)I have read this so many times, but it does not sink in...what should I check if
I have a group with 2 users and I want both to see each others orders, but not
any of the other groups orders. Is there any way to explain this setup
better? -- B. in Minn.
451: Dear B., this one can get tricky. First, your 2 users must have the
"View Orders For All Group-Users" permission enabled. This will allow them to
see orders from all users in their group. If these 2 users also belong to other
groups, and you do not want them to view orders placed by other users in those
groups, then you will need to check the following box in those group settings:
"Exclude this group from permission View Orders for all Group-Users." There are
other exceptions that come into play with this setting;
you can read more about those in article #281808.
Pageflex Software [Download] (#278225)This &*$@^%#)*!
451: We feel your pain. This is a large download, and sometimes it fails for a variety of reasons out of your hands and out of our hands.
New Order Received Auto Email (#282135)How do i add someone to receive new order emails for a particular company?
451: See answer to first question above.
Four51 Document Actions(#298967)There used to be a user's guide for Four51 document actions. Can that be brought
back?
451: You should visit the Wiki.
You'll find it here.
