Saving time was always a good idea, even before this "new economy" or "these challenging times." Did you know that you can auto-forward orders to suppliers? If there's no reason to touch the order, let it flow through.
Here are two nuances to consider when using auto-forward.

Help! I need this in 2 hours! This time it really is an emergency! Sorry about last time. Now, it's true that you can remove the "comments" permission for buyers. That's a little risky. You can also create a custom order field called Comments -- the order will then be auto-forwarded, comments and all.
2. There is a check-box labeled "Use buyer PO ID for order to supplier" that allows you to synch incoming and outgoing ID's. The benefit is more time savings and fewer errors, because now everyone is working from the same ID rather than worrying about "your order X is my order Y."
