Apply Now For A Sunday Morning Sales Permit
Act No. 213 of 2010 took effect on December 1, 2010, which provides various amendments to the Michigan Liquor Control Code, including the authorization of the sale of alcoholic beverages by on-premise and off-premises licensees between the hours of 7:00 AM and Noon on Sundays. The purpose of this Michigan Hospitality Law Update is to advise you that the Michigan Liquor Control Commission is now accepting applications for Sunday Morning Sales Permits, and given the volume of applications that it is receiving, we encourage you to apply now!
Our Firm is filing Sunday Morning Sales Permit applications as they are received, and we would be happy to file an application on your behalf. Please contact one of us to initiate your application, and send us a check payable to the State of Michigan in the amount of $160 for each licensed establishment that you would now like to hold a Sunday Morning Sales Permit.
We look forward to working with you to expedite the issuance of these Permits. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the application procedures, or the other legislation included in Public Act 213 of 2010, please do not hesitate to contact us.
