This spring, we armed six Beacon teens with cameras to capture a part of the local food system that touches their lives. Beacon Riverfest: To Be Powered by Humans
Volunteers Needed! June 26
Things are really coming together for Beacon Riverfest, a BACA sponsored event which will be on June 26 on Beacon's waterfront. We're at that moment where we are discovering more and more kinds of jobs to get done on the day of the event, and we'd be grateful if you could lend a hand.
So many folks over the past several months have said those heartfelt and magical words: "If you need any help, ...if there's anything I can do, ...if you need an extra set of hands..." If you are one of those people, please let us know! Because we could use your help: greeting people; mingling; selling t-shirts, gate-keeping, poster-hanging, postcard-distributing, street-teaming, loading in, cleaning up, and mostly just helping to make this concert event a big, big success.
If you can volunteer in any way, please email Beacon Riverfest 2010 Volunteer Coordinator and BACA Board Member Kelly Ellenwood at kellenwood@beaconarts.org
