From Stephen Clair, Director of Beacon Riverfest...
**********************************
Hey there-
This Beacon Riverfest is really actually truly happening!
We're building momentum thanks to friends and neighbors like you supporting our grassroots fundraising events.
(You can see him at Zuzu's on Saturday night - just a man, a guitar and a tip jar..... and another terrific fundraiser concert at the Howland Center is scheduled for April 30.)
Plus we've now got some sponsors, HVFCU and The Piggy Bank. And a great radio sponsor - WKZE (98.1 FM), my personal favorite station in the region. And they've promised a lot in the way of marketing and promotion.
The bands will be officially announced in a couple of weeks.
Because I am no longer imagining this, it's time to solicit your much-needed help.
We need:
-someone to coordinate vendors
-someone to coordinate some of the following volunteer shifts
- people to sell shirts and merchandise in the Beacon Riverfest booth the day of the event.
- people to mingle in the crowd and answer questions about Local 845/Beacon Riverfest/Live music in Beacon
- people to support tech and production the day of the event (some grunt and non-grunt)
- people to please tell their friends, talk it up, share facebook and web links.
- people to hang up posters when the time comes.
- someone to be a liaison to Main Street businesses
The sooner you can commit the better we can organize
Thanks! Stephen Clair
