On the weekend of September 26-27, 2009 there will be a city-wide Beacon Open Studio event for all artists living and working in Beacon. Studios will be open for the public to visit and free maps will be available to guide visitors around town. No studio? We can help! Come to one of the two registration parties happening in the month of June to sign up, get on the map, and have all your questions answered. Registration costs a mere $20 which will get your studio listed on the free map distributed to the public and will secure a place for one piece of your work to be included in the kickoff party exhibition extravaganza. Windows on Main Street is entering it's fifth year in Beacon, NY. Participants create site-specific works of art as a means to engage the community, residents, and businesses through a month long exhibition displayed in store windows located along Main Street.
