Business Presentation Etiquette:
Make your slides easy to follow. Put the title at the top of the slide where your audience expects to find it. Phrases should read left to right and top to bottom. Keep important information near the top of the slide. Often the bottom portions of slides cannot be seen from the back rows because heads are in the way.

Triple Crown Hometowns Celebrates Relocation of 300th Retiree Household

Triple Crown Hometowns (TCH) Retirement Development Partnership is a regional economic development initiative among the Chambers of Commerce of Brooks, Lanier and Lowndes Counties. Our mission is to attract and relocate amenity-seeking retirees to our South Georgia area by marketing our communities as the PERFECT place to RETIRE! More than 250 retirees and TCH investors celebrated at the Rainwater Conference Center on July 27. "Today we are here to celebrate you, the 300 retiree households, who chose South Georgia as their retirement destination and now call South Georgia home," stated John LaHood (Fellowship Home at Brookside, Inc.), Diamond Crown TCH Investor. "The Chambers began this initiative in an effort to further diversify our economies, knowing that in times of economic downturn, communities with a greater population of retirees fare better than communities with fewer retirees. Through our marketing efforts Triple Crown Hometowns has aided 300 retiree households in moving to South Georgia. This is our version of economic stimulus, and I think you will agree! The economic impact comes to $12.5 million in annual income, more than $10.5 million in annual spending, $1.2 billion in liquid assets brought to our communities and the indirect creation of 592 new jobs. Thank you retirees!" Delicious food and beverages were provided by the Conference Center, Covington's Dining & Catering, Beijing Café and Rhythm & Blues Café.
