Advertising Your Business in A Recovering Market
By: Steven Heddon
Creative Director
Fusion Creative Marketing
As we begin to shake off the effects of one of the worst economic periods our country has seen, there are several things that surviving businesses need to consider.
The days of easy credit, disposable, half-baked ideas, bloated inventories, payrolls, and overhead, are over. For a business to survive, it has to be lean and operate efficiently. It has to have a strong business plan that allows effective marketing to the demographic that will purchase or use its product or service. It should have a strong brand and advertise in the most cost efficient way.

Legislative Session Update |
|
From the desk of State Representative Amy Carter
This week we heard about exciting new legislation from Representative Tom Graves. He, along with other members of the state House, introduced the Jobs, Opportunity, and Business Success Act of 2010. The legislation is designed to stimulate the state's economy by providing tax credits and incentives to create, expand, and attract new businesses in Georgia. Some of these intiatives include a $2,400 tax credit for Georgia companies that hire difficult to employ individuals who are currently receiving unemployment benefits, the creation of the "Year for Georgia Entrepreneurs" which would allow Georgians the opportunity to start a new business with no state fees, and a fifty percent reduction of the capital gains tax for all Georgia taxpayers. |
