Odle Spring Fundraiser Committee For March 2012

Odle PPAC

 

I am looking for a few more parents (I already have 6 volunteers secured- we just need 4 more!) to work on the Odle 2nd annual spring fundraiser this year! The date will be March 2012 (final date to be announced this week).

 

I have a couple of open positions:

  • 2 people to manage Marketing/Advertising of the event (primarily done on-line via Odle website and Viking News)
  • Procurement (2 people to each procure 10 silent auction baskets - majority of which I have the contacts for!)
  • And 2 wonderful volunteers to design, print and mail the invitations.

Last year we had our first annual spring fundraiser that funded 4 primary areas....Our goal was $10,000...and we raised $15,000!!

  • $3,500 paid for 9 science monitors (cost was $3,500) that Mr. Duke wanted for Prism Science, and are being partially shared with Science Academy Classes.
  • $3,500 to FOOM (Friend of Odle Music) to assist with band and orchestra funding for instrument repairs, professionally cleaning, etc.
  • $3,500 paid for 8 Odle Teachers (including a couple Prism teachers) to go to the ACSD conference in California in March
  • $3,500 to the general funding of PTSA related items
