Picture Retake Day on October 20

Picture Retake Day is Thursday, October 20.  Just come to school and go to classes as usual, and you will be called out of class. This is for students who had a photo taken but did not like the photos, or there is something wrong with the photos.  If the mistake is the photographer's mistake, there will be no charge.  However, if you don't like the photo because of your hair or the expression on your face, something like that, you will need to re-purchase photos.  If you have not had your photo taken at all and just want an ID card, you may do that on this day, as well.

Success Initiative Feedback Email:  successodle@hotmail.com

Dear Parents,

The PTSA has created an email account to make it easier for you to give constructive feedback on the new success initiative.  Suggestions for improvement as well as compliments will be collected and passed along to our principal and the faculty success team so that they can make the program as effective as possible.  We will remove names from emails before passing them along.  Our principal Eric McDowell has requested that the PTSA help collect anonymous feedback so that people who feel less comfortable coming to him directly, can still have a voice as this new program gets going.  Thanks so much for your participation!

Volunteer Needs

Hearing Screening:  Our nurse needs some helpers!

Our hearing screen for the 7th grade is this Thursday 9/22 at 9:15 to approx. 11:15 in the library.  It would be wonderful if our wonderful nurse could rustle up about 5-6 volunteers to help.  The UW Audiology students do the actual testing, the volunteers would help with crowd control and so forth.

If you can help, please contact our school nurse, Dusty Udris at udrise@bsd405.org.
