Important message from Alexa Allman, Odle Asst. Principal, about Drop Off
We have been notified by Stevenson Elementary that some of our Odle parents are doing a U-turn in Stevenson's parking lot in order to avoid the traffic backups and get their students into the Odle entrance.  This poses a serious safety concern for elementary students. Please refrain from making this U-turn at Stevenson.

Stevenson begins at about the same time as Odle, so traffic is heavy between 7:30 and 7:40. Odle opens the building to students at 7:15 a.m. Parents & students, please make every effort to arrive at Odle early to avoid traffic and ensure your child makes it to class on time and safely.  Remember, Odle's 1st bell rings at 7:40 a.m.  The late bell rings at 7:45 a.m.

Parent-Teacher Conference Schedule
October 29: Arena Conferences (last names M-Z)*, 3:00-7:00 PM
*Note Prism LA, SS, Math, Science teachers are by appointment or invitation only.

What are arena conferences? Arena conferences are a chance for parents/guardians to hear first hand from the teacher how their child is doing academically, behaviorally, and socially. Due to the high volume of students per teacher and to be courteous to other parents/guardians, conferences are limited to 5 minutes. Should the conference need to last longer, an appointment with the teacher should be made.

Odle Visitation Policy
Odle welcomes guests to the school! Parents/guardians are welcome to visit in order to promote communication and mutual understanding about student progress and the District's educational program.  There are policies and procedures that must be followed to ensure the safety for all of our children.

All guests and visitors MUST SIGN IN AT THE MAIN OFFICE. School hours are 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Parent volunteers are needed in a variety of ways including tutoring, assisting in the library and office or just having lunch with a child. Parents wishing to volunteer at school should contact the main office so we can put them in touch with our volunteer coordinator.  Every contribution makes a difference!

Parents who wish to visit a teacher need to make an appointment ahead of time with the teacher via email or phone. Meetings before school are acceptable as long as the appointment is pre-arranged with the teacher. Tutorial (2:37-3:10 p.m.) is the time allotted for students and teachers' responsibilities and duties lie within meeting student needs first. This is not an appropriate time to meet with staff.

Student visitors are not allowed at Odle during the school day so that we can maintain an optimum learning environment for all students.

Should you have any questions about Odle's visitation policies and procedures, please contact the Main Office at 425-456-6600.

Gifts to BSF impact every school, every classroom, every child - every day.
Our fall Phonathon goal is $280,000. Answer the phone and donate during the Phonathon or click here to donate now: www.bsfdn.org/donate
Every gift matters!   Donate by Oct. 29th and our volunteers won't have to call you.   THANK YOU!!
