All Bellevue schools will be starting tomorrow, Monday, September 15th. All classes and buses will be on regular schedule.
Odle Middle School and Odle PTSA welcomes all of our families to the new 2008-2009 school year.
As we start school on Monday we hope to recapture the momentum and excitement of Back to School! It is very important that we as parents take a leadership role in getting our children enthusiastic about the start of the new school year. Kids are looking forward to seeing their friends, meeting their new teachers, and starting a new year of learning. You can best support your child and their education by getting excited too.
Odle PTSA's number one goal this year is to build community and continue to develop strong relationships between teachers, administration, students, and parents. We hope that each of you will join us in this effort, by sharing your thoughts about how we as a community can increase communication, cooperation and initiating action.
There are a number of ways that Odle Middle School and PTSA offers you a chance to get involved; volunteer, read our weekly communication emails, come to curriculum night, come to PTSA meetings, talk to your student about what they do each day at school, initiate contact with your child's teachers.
Odle PTSA learns who you are and how best to connect with you and your family by the forms that you fill out at the beginning of the year. If you have not filled out these forms, you can find them at www.odlemiddleschool.org
Once again, we look forward to meeting you, working with you, and building an outstanding community together.

BELLEVUE SCHOOLS FOUNDATION NEWS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bellevue Schools Foundation's (BSF) Phonathon is coming - October 20, 21, 22, 2008. Every gift matters. You can make a difference for the children in our schools. Please make a generous donation when volunteer parents from our school call. This year, BSF is raising $1.4 million for world-class, district-wide academic programs and support services for teachers and students in Bellevue's schools. BSF relies on financial support from parents like you to provide these valuable programs for our students. Your dollars also support teacher training, book purchases, middle school science, and VIBES mentoring. Funds raised during Phonathon benefit all students in all Bellevue schools. Donate online at www.bsfdn.org/donate by October 8 and we won't need to call you. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back to School Shopping on Amazon.com?
Simply go to the BSF website home page ( www.bsfdn.org), click on the Amazon.com link, and BSF will receive over 7% of each sale. Please note you must go through the BSF site ( www.bsfdn.org) for BSF to get credit for the order. Unfortunately, bookmarking the link or going directly to Amazon.com won't identify the purchase as a BSF order. Thanks for shopping on Amazon.com via the BSF website - we've raised over $2,000 for our kids this year! | |
