FFS Ahead of the Curve (Again) in 2011
In spring of 2010, FFS was talking about guys like Pittsburgh WR Mike Wallace and Houston RB Arian Foster as being way undervalued in fantasy drafts and we were taking them in our mock drafts. By the time August rolled around most every other site had caught up and it wasn't so easy to get these players. Now in 2011, in a recent fantasy football experts mock draft we took part in featuring 12 sites and 16 rounds, FFS was again consistently selecting players ahead of where their current average draft position is. It's something we're becoming known for in the industry: being first amongst fantasy sites to identify those players who are currently being under-valued. We firmly believe that Pittsburgh RB Rashard Mendenhall is a definite top 8 pick. Miami rookie RB Daniel Thomas should be drafted before his current ADP of the 8th round (we got him in round 6). A few of our 2011 fantasy football sleeper WR's like Green Bay's Jordy Nelson, St. Louis' Danario Alexander, and Pittsburgh's Emmanuel Sanders are all being way under-valued and we got them in rounds 7, 10, and 13 respectively. Read Russ's complete breakdown of each pick FFS made and judge for yourself whether we are ahead of the curve or just plain loopy!
