Free exhibit day at PTA convention
Don't miss this rare opportunity to see what makes the state's premier parent-involvement group work
Long Beach - Find out what draws thousands to the annual California State PTA Convention every year - for free.

There is a special opportunity on Thursday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., to visit the Exhibit Hall at the Long Beach Convention Center for free. No advance registration is required.

Afterward, on Friday and Saturday of the convention, which runs through Sunday morning, admission to the Exhibit Hall only is $150 for the general public; $60 for PTA members.


 
More than 165 exhibitors, including public, nonprofit and private enterprises, will offer products, services and resources related to school safety, health and fitness, fundraising and education.

WHY IT MATTERS: This is the 112th annual convention of the state's largest children's advocacy organization, with nearly 1 million members throughout California. At least 3,500 people are expected at the convention, where delegates meet to network, be informed and inspired, and vote on policy resolutions that guide the association's work. The event also includes more than 80 workshops and presentations by experts such as Anne T. Henderson, an authority on parent involvement in schools.
