Membership in PTA makes a difference in the lives of all children. More than 1,025 PTA units in California have already made a big difference by exceeding their total membership numbers from last year, just in the first five months of 2010-11. Of these, more than 900 units have already also met this year's annual membership challenge to grow at least 5 percent.

There's still plenty of time for your PTA to get on this list. The new year means new opportunities to increase your membership. To help you ramp up your midyear campaign, we have new fliers featuring testimonials from PTA and other education leaders about the importance of being a PTA member. 
These new fliers are available in English and in Spanish, and they can be easily customized to include your PTA's contact information. Find the instructions on how to do so on the fliers themselves. They will be especially appealing reproduced in color.
The new year means new opportunities to increase membership, and every member strengthens our voice for all children.
