'At Hewlett Packard, we get the opportunity to work with many impactful not-for-profit organizations. The California State PTA is a standout - hard-working, passionate and driving positive change in education and communities throughout California. As a business and community partner, they have demonstrated creativity and commitment.'

Joining PTA is good business.

Savvy business leaders understand that investing in children today ensures a great workforce tomorrow. They also understand that joining PTA is a great way to support children and schools and to be engaged in their local communities.

We have materials ready to customize for local PTAs who want to reach out to and involve more members of their local business community, including a sample invitation letter for business and community outreach.

One great way to let businesses and community organizations learn about PTA and why they should join, is to partner with them to put on events everyone will want to attend and that achieve mutual goals. For some ideas, click here

To help you build membership in your PTA, we have a new Membership Kit that offers a step-by-step guide to help plan your campaign. Click here to find it.
Don't forget Golden State PTA
For those who are not affiliated with a local PTA, Golden State PTA is a statewide association that allows individuals to join. When you become a member of Golden State PTA, you join with California's statewide membership in support of the education, health, and well-being of children and youth. It's easy to join online at www.capta.org (click the "Join or Support PTA" tab on the home page).
