State PTA honors units and councils for achievements in outreach
San Jose - The California State PTA presented 16 "MY PTA/PTSA" awards for outstanding work by PTA volunteers that benefits children and communities at its 110th annual convention.

The awards recognize achievements that range from fostering parent and student involvement to forging community partnerships and advocacy efforts that make a difference.

Units and councils received the following awards.
