We want to clarify that California State PTA is not part of the TV ad campaign related to class size reduction that the California Teachers Association (CTA) is running.
 
There was an initial press story in The Sacramento Bee that went out online with a headline stating we were part of the ad campaign. That was an error and was corrected the same day on The Bee's website. 
 
We did communicate PTA's support for class size reduction and other core programs at a press conference. However, our primary focus continues to be calling for additional revenues in the budget to prevent devastating cuts to education and children's services.
