QUICK LINKS

Dear (Contact First Name),

One of my favorite quotes begins, "Fall is to the educator as Spring is to the farmer: a fresh start". As we scurry with the last minute adminstrivia, we are very excited about the incoming class of 110 professionals. Among them is the new President of Girard College, the local head of Homeland Security, the spokesman for the FBI, head of the KIPP Schools, the City's Chief Integrity Officer, a former teammate of Lance Armstrong, and a number of impressive and eager corporate executives. We are particularly grateful to have filled the class to capacity in this economy.

Please join us in welcoming our newest colleagues, who - in the blink of an eye - will transform into staunch Philadelphia advocates, connectors, and contributors to the common good. Meanwhile, we wish you all the best in this season of fresh starts.

Pay it Forward,

Liz Dow
President

Connector Project Goes to Louisville

The Leadership Louisville Center is launching a Connector Project this month, modeled after LEADERSHIP Philadelphia's Connector Project. Following a visit and speech from Connector, Mayor Nutter '89, Louisville opened nominations for local Connectors. The project, based on our work with Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point, aims to identify area leaders who work across sectors for the common good (see the articles below).
