Girl on swing

Greetings!

During the month of April, I hope you will take some time to join us in support of our children. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. It is a time to continue to fight to protect children and raise awareness of the needs of children in our community. CASA will dedicate this month to training an additional class of over 20 new Volunteer Advocates, who will speak up for children in our community suffering horrific abuse and neglect. These new Volunteers Advocates will share their compassion and hearts with children who desperately need a trusted adult to listen to them.

We are also fortunate to have some fun beneficiary events that are family friendly and open to all in the community. Come to McAlister's Deli in McKinney on Tuesday, April 5th for the CASA night (5-10pm) or join us at our first annual Cruising for CASA motorcycle ride on Sunday, April 10th (see below). This fun inaugural event will include a motorcycle ride and post event activities starting at noon for all ages including bounce house, lunch, unique silent auction items and live entertainment by the exceptional Maylee Thomas Band!

Thank you for caring about our children!
