Summer has arrived in Texas, as we expect the first 100 degree day to affect us this weekend! As your summer schedule begins, now is the perfect time to kick back and enjoy your family and friends and a deserved vacation. We have some great ways to help make your summer fun, rewarding and help children in our community! Starting on July 17th, CASA will provide our 3rd volunteer training class of the year. Our volunteer training will provide you with the knowledge and information you need to join our almost 200 volunteer advocates and make a difference for the life of an abused child! Or maybe you want to help in your own unique way. Inside our newsletter are many inspiring stories about how children, families, businesses and community partners are making a difference! Thank you for taking time from your busy schedules to care about children and support CASA of Collin County!

CASA TALKS CASA Talks provide important information to help CASA staff and volunteers learn insights into issues about child abuse that our children face. The most recent CASA Talk featured Darlene Ellison, M.S., speaker and author of The Predator Next Door. Ms Ellison shares her personal journey when she and her children learned she was married to a child predator. The Predator Next Door reveals this strong woman's journey, from typical suburban wife and mother to crusader against pedophilia. To learn more about Darlene's important message, visit www.darleneellison.com.
