Welcome to Rutiz Farms
NEWS OF THE FARM
SPECIAL STAND HOURS FOR THE HOLIDAY PERIOD Tuesday, Dec. 28---1 to 5pm Friday, Dec. 31---closed Tuesday, Jan. 4---1 to 5pm. Closed Saturdays until March 2011.
We will be closed this coming Friday, Dec. 31...you are not crazy, because you did in fact read in last week's newsletter that we would be open..but due to the recent cold and rainy weather which has effectively made all the plants stop growing ( so we don't have much to harvest right now ) and staffing issues (everyone wanted the day off...including me ) we will not have the stand open this Friday. No Harvest Boxes will be available this Friday. For those of you who prepaid for Dec. Harvest Boxes, we will credit this week into next month. So, be sure to come by this Tuesday, Dec. 28. We will be open and have all the regular winter veggies, apples, kiwis, avocados and fresh flowers. Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 4, we will again be open our regular winter hours...Tuesdays and Fridays 1 to 5pm.
Available at our stand:
Heirloom Sonora Whole Wheat Flour from Huasna Valley Farm.
"Locally Grown, Freshly Milled"
The price will be $6.75 for a 21/2 pound bag of freshly milled flour.
