Stop Procrastinating!

Procrastination is a self-defeating behavior that develops in part due to low self-esteem and fear of failure. Your imagination is like a preview of your future.

Overcoming procrastination is the first step in helping you create the lifestyle you desire. You must change the habits and behaviors that led you to procrastinate in the first place. Instead of focusing on the difficulty of a large task, break it into smaller jobs and create a timeline for finishing them.

Several small jobs done over time are much more manageable that one large task with no end in sight. You'll be astonished at how much you can get done if you concentrate on one thing at a time instead of cluttering your mind with multiple tasks. Try tackling the more undesirable tasks early in the day so that by afternoon you can pursue more pleasant activities.

Relieve yourself of the pressure created by clutter in your office or home. Develop a filing system, rid yourself of unnecessary papers, and give yourself an organized place to work. When you exercise self-discipline in your surroundings as well as your behaviors, you will make major strides in accomplishing your goals in a shorter period of time.

If people or outside forces distract you, use the power of the human mind to block out what impedes your progress and concentrate solely on the task at hand.
You will make remarkable progress by refusing to let others alter the path you have chosen.

Procrastination is of no use to you in your quest to fulfill your dreams. Lose those old habits and replace them with habits that lead to self-motivation and control over your life. Overcoming procrastination and staying motivated is the way to lifetime success and happiness. You'll achieve your goals rapidly when you stay focused on your destination and the rewards that will follow.

SUCCESS!

Success is NOT achieved accidentally. It is a systematic, deliberate process of deciding what you want to do with your life, what you will do when you get there, and what the steps are to get you where you want to be.

One of the most important aspects of success is the ability to visualize your path and stay focused on your goal until you reach it. The sooner you envision your dreams and develop a plan to turn them into reality, the faster you will accomplish your goals. Mental pictures are a mechanism to lead you down the path of true independence and motivation. If you don't use your imagination your life will remain mundane and unfulfilling.

No matter what is happening around you, keep your mind focused on the reward you'll receive by reaching your goals.

Are You Waiting For Opportunity to

KNOCK?

Today marks a new day for you.

Opportunities will be plentiful.
There will be an opportunity for anybody to achieve anything they want to achieve. Do you believe that? I do.

But there is a caveat that must be made. Those who succeed are those who will knock on the door of opportunity and walk through the door when it swings open. That we know. But what is the secret to getting through the door of opportunity?

Preparing for the opportunity when the door opens and knocking on enough doors.

As the story goes, While only 13 music superstar Usher's audition for music producer  Antonio "L.A." Reid was, well, unconventional. He sang for the women in Reid's California office, serenading them one at a time, kissing hands and even a knee. His natural charm and pitch perfect vocal delivery earned him a recording contract the same day. Needless to say, the rest is history.

You see, you never know when the door of opportunity is going to open wide. For some, the big break comes early in life and for others later on. But for all of those who become successful, there is one key similarity: They were ready. And for every one of those who were ready, there were thousands more who weren't.

So, the principle for us is: Be ready!

Are you ready? Here are some thoughts for you to consider.

Are your skills as sharp as they could be? Are they enough so when your shot comes you can perform?

Is your character deep enough to handle success? Let's face it; you don't want big success if your character won't be able to handle it.

Are you working hard to position yourself now? The job to do while waiting for the door to open is to develop your skills and your character, so as to position yourself to get through that door before it closes.

Your door will open someday. It opens for everyone. It may only open once or it may open many times. It is different for everyone and life just isn't fair that way. But everybody gets a shot. Will you be ready?

When that huge door of opportunity opens up, will you be able to walk boldly through it?

Do everything you can to be ready. Don't just sit and wish and dream. Be proactive and make sure that you are the most qualified when the door opens. Make sure that you are the hardest worker. Make sure you are the closest to the door.

When it opens - Be Ready!

Shhh. Do you hear that? Hinges creaking! It is the sound of the door opening. Your door of opportunity! Are you ready?

Are You A Successful Entrepreneur?

Do you know the right qualifications and characteristics an entrepreneur must have to succeed? Does your profile match that of a successful entrepreneur? There are several important traits and values that are common among entrepreneurs.

1.  Successful Entrepreneurs are Self-Confident - to succeed in the highly competitive real estate business, confidence and trust in oneself is an indispensable trait. Self-confidence means trusting your own powers and capabilities. The world of entrepreneurship is not alien to failure and disappointments. To survive in the real world, an entrepreneur must have the ability to look within himself and find the drive and persistence to pursue his enterprise. An entrepreneur must have the gumption to face any adversity and tackle any problems that may be encountered.

2.  Successful Entrepreneurs are Risk-takers - being an entrepreneur means having the ability to trust your hunches and acting on them. Great business ideas sometimes start as a hunch which enterprising individuals acted upon. There is always the risk of loss in any endeavor, and entrepreneurs have just the right confidence to take calculated risks to achieve their objective.  However, an entrepreneur's risk-taking does not depend on luck, but on sheer effort and hard work.

3.  Successful entrepreneurs have the so-called head for business -
many entrepreneurs are gifted with intuition, this ability does not involve clairvoyance or extra sensory powers of some sort, but rather, keen observation and understanding of what is going on around him. A good entrepreneur is always on the look out for new ideas and new ways to make their business more successful.

4.  Successful Entrepreneurs are competitive - the real estate business is a very competitive environment. An entrepreneur must be aggressive enough to pursue his goal despite having many rivals and competitors. An entrepreneur must know how to stay ahead of his competitors, by introducing new ideas and exploring new services, all in the spirit of expanding his business.

5.  Successful Entrepreneurs are honorable and have a good work ethic - although it is a fact that the business world is ruthless, the successful entrepreneur will strive to make every business deal honorable. The mark of a successful entrepreneur lies in a good personal work ethic that ultimately leads to good business practices, excellent reputation and good association with industry peers and business partners.
