WEDNESDAY SUMMER MOVIE NIGHT
     
Wednesday Summer Movie Night on Cedar SrpingsOK, how many of you remember going to a Drive-In theatre?
 
Well, the Cedar Springs Merchant Association has come up with the next best thing.
 
Now, every Wednesday night, you can gather with your friends and enjoy an outdoor movie on the TMC patio beginning at 8pm. There will be give-aways, popcorn, cold drinks and fun, fun, fun! 
 
The first movie will be "Rocky Horror Picture Show" on Wednesday night (July 15). A complete movie schedule can be found online.

VOICE OF PRIDE CONTINUES DTG's Voice of Pride continues
Elimination Rounds 

Voice of Pride 2009 sponsored by the Dallas Tavern Guild is now into the Elimination Rounds! The top five finalists win cash prizes and the winner gets $3,000 plus a trip for two to Hawaii courtesy of Delta Airlines and Orbitz Gay Travel.
 
Here are the Elimination Round Dates:
Tuesday, July 14 - Pekers
Thursday, July 16 - Dallas Eagle 
   
All competitions begin at 9:00 pm.

MOMMIE QUEEREST Uptown Players "Mommie Queerest" @ Rose Room

Uptown Players present "Mommie Queerest" at The Rose Room in S4, starring - Coy Covington, Kevin Moore, Chad Peterson and Paul J. Williams. Written by Jamie Morris. Directed by Andi Allen. Featuring an all-male cast of four, tells the now-famous story of movie star Joan Crawford and her tumultuous relationship with adopted daughter Christina. This hilarious parody of the film classic "Mommie Dearest". The box office and front doors to S4 open at 7pm and priority seating begins at that time. General admission seating begins at 740pm. All seats are general admission however season ticket holders get priority seating between 7 pm and 7:40 pm.

It's a Water Balloon Dodgeball Tournament in the Station 4 Parking Lot on Saturday, July 25. All proceeds benefit AIDS Arms LifeWalk.
 
Each team will consist of 5 participants. Pre-Registration Fee is $20 per person, $100 per team.  Onsite Registration the day of the event is $25 per person, $125 per team. This is a single elimination tournament. The games are limited to 2 minutes. Complete information online.

 Mia is a Domestic Short Hair female that is spayed. She weighs about 10 lbs. and is White in color. She is about 3 years old. His reason for surrender: Husband doesn't want her.
  
Don't I look beautiful. I am as sweet as I look. I am a white 3 year old spayed female. My owner couldn't keep me anymore, so I am anxiously looking for a new forever home. I am very affectionate, and I love people and other animals. Come on by and I will charm you with my good looks and personality.
