Spectrum Motorcycle Riding ClubSpectrum is a group of people that share an interest in motorcycles and group events. They do what they can for the community and a few local charities by having fundraisers along with "Bike Nights" in the Cedar Springs area twice a month. The members of the club ride all kinds of motorcycles from Sport to cruiser with trips as short as 20 miles to a much as 6000. They like taking short dinner rides in the early evenings during summer to local places and day rides to places like Stevensville for great BBQ and the twisty roads around the Guadalupe River. Their membership boasts over 100 members however about 30 are active with the club. It was formed in 2004 and is involved with the Pride Parade each year. Some members don't even have a cycle but ride often. More rides are planned for the Spring and Fall as well as events all year long.

On July 1st, their "First Wednesday Bike Night" will feature Hamburgers and Hot Dogs from the grill on the front patio of Club TMC from 5-10 pm and will include some great Games and Prizes. Kitties Special

Pet of the Week - Kitties Special
In honor of National Shelter Cat Month, the DFW Humane Society is offering discounted adoption fees on all cats and kittens.

The promotion, good for the entire month of June, offers a $25 adoption fee for any cat one-year-old or older that have already been altered.

The June sale also features a "two-furr-one" sale on same-sex kittens. The $100 adoption fee includes spaying and neutering both kittens when they reach the appropriate age.

In addition to spaying and neutering, both adoption fees include leukemia testing, FVRCP vaccination, general deworming, microchip placement and enrollment, free exam with veterinarian of choice within 10 days of adoption, and a temporary transportation carrier.

The non-promotional fee for cat and kitten adoptions at the DFW Humane Society is $85, making savings during National Shelter Cat Month $60 for cats and $70 for the two kittens.

If you can adopt Kitties and give them a good home, please contact the DFW Humane Society at 972-253-3333, or check out one of the many other pets that need a home by visiting their web site.
