DTV IS HERE ! Are You Ready?
Today is the day for transition from analog to digital television. If you get your TV signal from any service like cable or satellite, you don't have to do anything. But, if you receive your signal using a home mounted antenna or rabbit ears, you will need either a new digital ready tv or a converter box.

VOICE OF PRIDE CONTINUES Thru June
Voice of Pride 2009 sponsored by the Dallas Tavern Guild is under way! The top five finalists win cash prizes and the winner gets $3,000 plus a trip for two to Hawaii courtesy of Delta Airlines and Orbitz Gay Travel. MOMMIE QUEEREST Thursdays - Sundays

Uptown Players present "Mommie Queerest" at The Rose Room in S4, starring - Coy Covington, Kevin Moore, Chad Peterson and Paul J. Williams. Written by Jamie Morris. Directed by Andi Allen. Featuring an all-male cast of four, tells the now-famous story of movie star Joan Crawford and her tumultuous relationship with adopted daughter Christina. This hilarious parody of the film classic "Mommie Dearest". The box office and front doors to S4 open at 7pm and priority seating begins at that time. General admission seating begins at 740pm. All seats are general admission however season ticket holders get priority seating between 7 pm and 7:40 pm.

Elvis is a Shepherd/Corgi Mix male that not been neutered. He is about 12 weeks old weighing in at 15 lbs. right now. He is Brown in color. Reason for surrender: Came in with a litter. Elvis is very sweet and friendly. He is good with other dogs. If you can adopt Elvis and give him a good home, please contact the DFW Humane Society at 972-253-3333, or check out one of the many other pets that need a home by visiting their web site.

The DFW Humane Society is having a Garage Sale on Saturday (June 6th) from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm to help the pets of the shelter. Items for donation will be accepted until 10:00 am
