ROBBERY AND KILLING IN OAK LAWN
OVER $1.00

As reported by FOX4 News,,,

Police say a couple of thieves robbed two men and only got $1 between them, but that didn't stop them from killing one of the victims. The shooting happened at 10:30 p.m. at the Town Club Apartments in the 2400 block of Arroyo Ave., near Maple and Wycliff Aves.

Witnesses say the 43-year-old Jose Luis Aguirre and his friend had just parked their minivan at the apartments, but before they could get out, two men approached the van.

The suspects demanded the victims' wallets. The driver, who was Aguirre's friend, gave his up, although it only contained $1.
