ONE NIGHT IN BANGKOK
Benefit for Turtle Creek Chorale
Main Event: Saturday, May 9
10:00 pm - 4:00 am
Promoter Dannee Phann in conjunction with The Brick Dallas is pleased to announce the 3rd annual "One Night in Bangkok" circuit party-style event to benefit the Turtle Creek Chorale. The fundraiser will be held on the evening of Saturday, May 9 at The Brick, 4117 Maple Avenue. Doors will open at 10:00 pm, and you can dance until 4:00 am to the music of International renowned DJ DeMarko! Tickets for the Saturday night event will be $20 in advance and $30 at the door, with all proceeds of ticket sales going to the Turtle Creek Chorale. Last year, the function raised $15,648.00. A Friday night VIP and Host Party will be held May 8th from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am at Mickey's. DJ Bryan Hamric. On Sunday morning, May 10th, beginning at Midnight, The Club at 2616 Swiss Avenue will sponsor an "After-Party" with DJ Paul Kraft. An additional Morning Party will be atJoe's Place, adjacent to The Brick, from 4:00 am to 8:00 am. DJ Aqualight Advance tickets can be purchased online or at the following retail outlets: Skivvies, 4001 Cedar Springs Rd., #C; Tapelenders, 3926 Cedar Springs Rd.; and Mickey's, 3851 Cedar Springs Rd. The Michelob Ultra No. 11 Katy 5K is just over a month away! It's time for you to register so you can run, walk or skate the Katy 5K, and then join 5,000 of your closest friends at Katy's Picnic. Registration is $5 for Katy Trail Kids Point-5K Dash, $30 for Katy 5K (members get a discount), and $100 for VIP 5K Registration.
We need you to volunteer. We hook up our volunteers - you'll get a free Katy 5K t-shirt and free admission to the best post-race party in town after your shift. Our volunteers know how to have a good time. The 5K needs volunteers starting at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 for a variety of opportunities including registration, starting line guides, water stations and more.

MILLION GAY MARCH

The Makeup and Mayhem live art auction will be pulling together the talent of our community to help benefit the Million Gay March of Texas. There will be works of art in a variety of mediums for purchase, all original pieces by local artisans and artists as well as a silent auction for some great items!
The infamous Ivana Tramp will be our live auctioneer and performer! A night of wine, laughs and smart sassy fun!
The goal of this event is to empower the community, both straight and gay, to become involved in the fight for equality and to have to tools to be able to stand and fight against bigotry and fear. At the Rorschach Gallery, 518 W. Davis St. in the Artisan's Collective.

Dude is a Heeler Mix male that has not been neutered. He is about 3-4 months old weighing in at 18 lbs. right now. He is Black and White, Reason for surrender: Found as a stray.
See me smiling for the camera?! I am a Heeler mix little boy, around 3-4 months of age that was found as a stray. I am a good boy, playing well with people of all ages and even other dogs. I can't wait to smile for my new family portrait- would that be with you?
