NEW SMOKING BAN NOW IN EFFECT

Beginning today, the new Dallas City ordinance goes into effect banning smoking in bars and pool halls as well as most workplaces. Smoking is also prohibited within 15 feet of a workplace entrance, except for those spaces leading to an outdoor deck or patio.

Many bars in the Oak Lawn area are trying their best to accommodate smokers by remodeling certain areas of the clubs, or opening up new patio areas. Be aware of the ban and light up only where permitted.
