Happy New Year everyone! This is our last newsletter for 2008. There will not be an issue this Friday, but look for us back on January 9th. Don't forget about the big First Wednesday "Texas Hold'Em Crawl" on Wednesday, January 7th form 6-9 pm (more information below).

LATEST INFO: FOOD PANTRY MOVE
Resource Center Dallas
As you know, the Food Pantry was forced to find a new home. The Resource Center set a Holiday Fundraising Goal and as of 12/24/08, they were about $2,300 away from their goal. The new location has been selected and the move is anticipated for the weekend of January 23-25.

Humane Society Brawie is a male, neutered Chihuahua mix about 1 year old. He is brindle in color and weighs in about 14 lbs. His reason for being in the shelter: can't take care of him anymore. Brawie is very sweet and friendly. He is good with kids and other pets. If you can adopt Brawie and give him a good home, please contact the DFW Humane Society at 972-253-3333, or check out one of the many other pets that need a home by visiting their web site.
