SUPPORT AIDS INTERFAITH NETWORK
501 N. Stemmons Fwy # 200 Dallas, Texas 75207 214-943-4444
Because people with HIV/AIDS are living longer, the need for help can seem not to be as great as in times past. But sadly however, worldwide 18 people will have died of AIDS by the time you finish reading this letter. In the USA, Dallas County continues to have the highest number of new HIV infections in the state of Texas. Most alarming, teens and young adults between ages 13 and 24 are one of the fastest growing groups contracting HIV.
With the support of our local communities, we have been able to provide services to over 1,700 men, women, and children who are living in poverty on incomes between $0 and $700 per month.
At this time of the year we know you receive many requests for donations, and it is important for you to know that your contribution to AIN goes directly to those in need. Every dollar counts and every dollar makes a real difference in the life of a person with HIV/AIDS and to at-risk people throughout the metropolitan area.
Please visit our website at www.aidsinterfaithnetwork.org to learn more about our client services and prevention programs, and to take advantage of our online donation opportunities. | |

Pet of the Week
DFW
Humane Society Maine is a male, not neutered Shepherd Mix about 3 months old. He is dark brown and tan and weighs in about 12 lbs. now. His reason for being in the shelter: came in with a litter. Maine says "I'm a 3 month old mixed puppy who was abandoned at the shelter along with 9 of my brothers and sisters. Several of them have found great homes already, and I hope I'll soon be just as lucky! I love kids and other dogs, and I would make the perfect addition to your active family!" If you can adopt Maine and give her a good home, please contact the DFW Humane Society at 972-253-3333, or check out one of the many other pets that need a home by visiting their web site.
