| The Hispanic Heritage Art Contest |

Runs through the end of March. Children are encouraged to create a scene illustrating your thoughts and feelings regarding Hispanic heritage, music, food, and history.
Winning entries, runners-up and honorable mentions in two age categories, 7 to 11 and 12 to 18, will be on display at Dallas Public Library, 4th floor, 1515 Young Street, September 16 - October 16, 2007.

Reverchon Park Roundup Saturday, March 1
It's time to round up community friends, area neighbors and volunteers to help beautify and clean up Reverchon Park. Help is needed to plant flower beds, clear fallen tree limbs and clean up trash. 8:30-9:00 am Registration and Orientation, 9:00-11:00 am Roundup, 11:30am-12:30pm Picnic Lunch. Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants. Bring gloves, rakes and small hand tools (if available). Parking available at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital located a the corner of Oak Lawn and Maple Avenues. Thurs, March 20 - Sun, March 23 TEXAS BEAR ROUND UP 13 - "CIRQUE DES OURS". The 13th yearly event will be held at DALLAS CROWNE PLAZA MARKET CENTER, 7050 North Stemmons Frwy. Major beneficiaries include: AIDS Interfaith Network, AIDS Services of Dallas and Youth First Texas. Expecting over 850 participants, attendees will enjoy a wide array of events and activities. No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party

Presented by AIDS SERVICES OF DALLAS at the FRONTIERS OF FLIGHT MUSEUM. A benefit to raise funds for AIDS Services of Dallas which provides services for low-income and formerly homeless men, women, children and families living with HIV/AIDS. On Saturday, generous, fun people will host social gatherings - from backyard barbecues for 10 to formal dinners for 30+. Guests are asked to make a donation of $40 or more to ASD. After dinner, all dinner hosts and guests are invited to Frontiers of Flight Museum for a dessert celebration with entertainment, dancing, coffee and delightful desserts donated by some of Dallas' finest caterers and restaurants.
