Brick Workouts Saturday 9:30-11:00
What's a "brick" workout? A favourite among multi-sport athletes, brick
workouts are a necessary component of multi-sport training that involve 2
events in a duathlon or triathlon. They are called "bricks"
because they typically consist of a bike workout followed immediately by a run;
furthermore, your legs will feel like a ton of bricks as you transition from
the bike to run. Brick workouts tend to be intense, and it is important
to ensure an adequate base of training is achieved prior to introducing this
type of workout. Our Saturday workouts
will begin moderately and build as the season progresses. Not up for 2 events? No worries, feel free to join us for either
the bike or run portion of the workout.
Can't make any of the scheduled classes? If you have a group of 4 people, we can book a class that suits your schedule.
