Stem Cells Biospeak Title

Greetings!

Stem cells proliferate, migrate, and differentiate to form
organisms during embryogenesis. Since their identification
and characterization, stem cell therapy has promised to dramatically change the treatment of numerous human diseases including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, musculo-skeletal diseases, cardiac disease and rheumatoid arthritis.

This issue of BioSpeak highlights the most recent progress in the area of Stem Cell research.

Hot topics in Stem Cell research
Neural progenitor cells.
The importance of mTor signalling in stem cell exhaustion and mammalian aging.
Stem cells and cancer.
Neural progenitor cells.
