Neuroendocrine title
 Greetings!

Want your Neuroendocrine peptides to stand out from the crowd? biosensis antibodies were deliberately raised in guinea-pigs. Why is this important?  Because antibodies raised in guinea pigs have strong avidity and selectivity for their antigens. Why should you care? There are two reasons:

1.  Better value for money:  Antibodies with high avidity and selectivity can be diluted more.

2.  Cleaner images:  High dilution antibodies, when paired with a quality labelled secondary antibody give you clean immunohistochemistry images.

The
biosensis range of antibodies covers a range of antigens including alpha- and gamma-MSH, LH, AGRP and Ghrelin as well as old favourites such as oxytocin and orexin. biosensis also has a range of neuroendocrine receptor antibodies.

So when the results need to be crystal clear: Trust biosensis.
GP-029-50 anti-AGRP (synthetic mouse)

Immunohistochemical staining of sheep hypothalamus incubated with guinea pig polyclonal antibodies to the mouse AGRP protein at the dilution of 1:1000 overnight followed by incubation with biotinylated secondary antibodies. Cell bodies and nerve terminals in the sheep brain are intensely stained.

GP-030-50 anti-alpha MSH (synthetic human)

This cryostat section of a sheep hypothalamus was incubated with guinea pig polyclonal antibodies to the alpha melanocyte-stimulating hormone at the dilution of 1:1000 overnight followed by incubation with biotin labeled secondary antibodies.  DAB staining of nerve cells in the sheep brain is shown when no pre-absorption is performed.

GP-031-50 anti-gamma MSH (synth. human)

Cryostat section of the sheep hypothalamus was incubated in guinea pig polyclonal antibodies to the gamma melanocyte-stimulating hormone at the dilution of 1:1000 overnight followed by incubation with FITC- conjugated secondary antibodies.

Anti-Orexin A anti-Orexin A (synthetic peptide)

Immunohistochemical staining of orexin A in rat zona incerta neurons using Rabbit antibody to Orexin A (12-33) at the dilution of 1:1000 followed by incubation with biotinylated secondary antibodies. Cell bodies and nerve terminals in the sheep brain are intensely stained (Black).

anti-Ghrelin

GP-029-50

anti-Ghrelin

Paraffin-embedded sheep abomasum section incubated with anti- ghrelin protein at  1:1000 dilution followed by incubation with biotinylated secondary antibodies. Cell bodies and nerve terminals in the sheep abomasum are intensely stained.

anti-Oxytocin

GP-029-50

anti-Oxytocin

Immunohistochemistry of a sheep hypothalamus section incubated with anti-oxytocin at 1:1000 dilution followed by incubation with biotinylated secondary antibodies. Cell bodies and nerve terminals are intensely stained.
