Just a couple days ago, I took the overnight train to Kiev to meet a group of Tucsonians from Vail Christian Church. One more overnight train brought them back to Donetsk to help us with a few building projects at the church on the shelter and ministry/outreach projects in the area.

This morning I can hear the thunder outside and see the rain hitting the roof of our patio. It reminded me of how much we need your prayer to make sure that this trip is a profitable trip for everybody involved. Fall is here and soon the leaves will be changing. Buckeye trees have already started and their chestnuts litter the ground. We are working hard to make sure our church planter will be able to move to the city by the end of the year. The task looks herculean, but with your prayers we know that nothing is impossible.
