Greetings!
Beth and I are busy with preparations for going back to Ukraine on April 7th. During this short stateside assignment, we have visited with many (not all) of our family, friends and supporters in Tennessee, North Carolina, Arizona, and Hawaii. Perhaps the greatest times we have had were the opportunities we had to visit with our daughter during her first year of collegiate life.
With all this taking place, we skipped our February update and are negligently late for March. Thank you for your patience. Without further adieu, we'll get right to the prayer and praise reports.
Praise Reports:- Our builder for the church on the shelter was able to finish the shell (walls & floors) and roof in early January.
- The core group meeting at our house for Bible study has been meeting faithfully in our absence this winter and even accomplished some outreach over the holiday season.
- Though our church planter training program was postponed due to harsh weather conditions in January, training was resumed in March.
- Our daughter, Charity, continues to have a great college experience.
Prayer Requests:Both personnel and financial resources are needed to get the church on the shelter ready for use, by the coming fall. Document work for construction continues. We will need wisdom and providence to get all the documents finished so that our church planter can move in to the top floor parsonage. Approximately 18 church planting students along with the administration of Spiritual Renewal of the Donbas need wisdom and guidance as they learn and seek the Lord's leading in ministry. As we prepare our hearts to celebrate the greatest miracle, our prayer is that we might glorify the God who became man, took our sins to the cross and conquered death and the grave.
Because He lives,
