Eric, Beth & Charity Yodis Wish You A Very...

Greetings!

The Ukrainian art form Pycanki, is the art of coloring eggs. It is a tradition rich in symbolism and beauty. Some would say the Ukrainians borrowed this art form from pagans, while others would say they "redeemed" this beloved art. For some, the egg has come to symbolize the Holy Trinity, after the Orthodox church began using the composition of an egg with its three parts to illustrate, in part, the composition of the Trinity.  Many people color eggs simply because that is what they have always done.

This season as you fulfill your Easter traditions, our hope is that they will lead you into a celebration of God and what the Lord has done for you and all mankind. May you be blessed with the realization of the reality of the resurrection. May you eggsbask in the knowledge that Christ's accomplishments on the cross, in the grave, and back to life are the demonstration of that power He has to forgive all your sins and to give  you life eternal. May that knowledge lead you to repentance and celebration.

This is our Easter wish for you and for us. As always, thank you for praying for us and for the ministry of church planting in eastern Ukraine.
