Summer Is Flying By (and so will this brief update)
Thanks so much for praying for us throughout July. I didn't think it possible to pack more into a month than we did in July, but now as I look at August I see I was wrong.
So, I'll be brief: Tomorrow (August 6th) we have an important meeting with the leadership and perspective leadership of the mission society "Spiritual Renewal of the Donbas". Please be in special prayer for this meeting as the future of the mission society may be shaped at this time. Will the vision and methodology of the mission be able to be retooled and carried out effectively? Will our national colleagues find the local funding necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives? Will Eric be able to pass the ministry baton to the next generation of Ukrainian leaders without dropping it? The answers to these questions may be dependent in part or in whole upon your ministry of prayer for us and for eastern Ukraine. Next: John  & Stella are getting married! John White (pictured on left) has been our colleague for a number of years here in eastern Ukraine. We are happy for both John and Stella and are looking forward to welcoming Stella into WorldVenture Ukraine. Beth is extremely involved and I am somewhat involved in the wedding preparations and execution. As such, we will be crazy busy until next Tuesday, August 12. Somehow we will have to make time to celebrate Beth's ??th birthday on or around the 8th. What else is there? During the rest of August, Eric will be moving out of his office and relocating to the target region of the church on the shelter. During this time, we will be helping our Ukrainian colleagues, Yura and Lena Shtil, move their family to our very neighborhood. We aren't sure if this is humanly possible to do by the end of the month while still treasuring the few remaining days we have left with our daughter before she goes back to school in Germany, but we'll be doing our best as you buoy us up with your prayers. In Other News 
As time permits we will be updating our website with camp pictures and news of other ministry exploits. We are currently behind in our communications, both on yodis.org and in our e-mail responses. If you need a response from us and have not received it yet, please feel free to rattle our chain. Sometimes we can use the extra help.
Also, our web service provider has changed systems and .mac has done a horrific job at transitioning to .me. IBM could do some effective anti-mac commericials right now. So until they work out all the bugs in the software, I'm having a difficult time adding to the website. However, I did manage to get this blog up about Charity's week at camp.
