Dear ,
Thank you so much for praying for the ministry of church planting in eastern Ukraine. Our prayer and praise section is found at the end of this letter, but not because it is least important. In fact, if you don't have enough time or desire to read this whole update, than scroll down toward the bottom and pray through the prayer requests and praise through the praise items. Then keep this letter in your inbox as a reminder to pray for us, and for the needs of church planting in eastern Ukraine.
We have just sent out a full color paper prayer letter via snail mail and you can download it by clicking on this image (left). This letter features the Church On The Shelter special project and includes a response form for those who would like to make a donation. Also, we are rebuilding our snailmail address list by asking people to respond. If a person doesn't respond, we will assume that they receive our e-mail letters and don't need the paper copy.
Well, thanks for your time, your love and your prayers! We look forward to hearing from you as time permits.

News Of: Spiritual Renewal Of The Donbas Mission Society Spring Training Event - March 13-15
About 30 men and women took part in the fourth of five training events for the current set of students of the Project 250 church planter training program. Because the training program is largely self-supporting at this point, the men don't always get to bring their wives, but a gift from a friend of the ministry allowed the leadership to include them in this training program.
Beth led two craft sessions and an informal cooking session. It is a rare event when the women can get together with like-minded women and fellowship together and learn from each other. Beth's participation helped break the ice from the first day which helped make their time that much more encouraging and enriching.
Eric taught four sessions on spiritual life having to do with the law, grace, and the implications of our adoption into the family of God. The sessions were not as fun as Beth's sessions were for the Women, so "I tried to bring a cache of visual illustrations. I want to be like the Carrottop of seminar speakers." He fell short of his goal in quantity of visuals and unlike Carrottop, there were no new inventions. Still, while having a good time, hearts and minds were challenged.

Praise
Praise for the great group of students, leadership and the quality of the training event mentioned in the article above.
Praise for our daughter, Charity, who had a great time of ministry working with children in the ghettos of Glasgow. Despite a really crazy travel schedule with much of the travel being accomplished on her own, Charity made all the connecting flights for her spring break and has arrived safely back at BFA.
Praise for an early spring with above normal temperatures. (If this is global warming, bring it on!) Praise for the small team that continues to meet for prayer regarding outreach and those in the neighborhood of the Church on the Shelter. Praise for the godly experienced church planters that have been coming to consult with the group and answer questions.
& Prayer
Pray for the prayer/outreach ministry of those involved in the Church on the Shelter plant. Just five streets have been partially canvassed and the main prayer request is for people they know to stop abusing drugs and alcohol. The second most common request is for health concerns. (Please join us in praying for these concerns as well.)
Pray for the first rehab enlistee we have sent to our partnering churches drug rehab center. Due to work, he was only able to be there for four weeks, but came back looking like a different person. Andre, the center's director, prefers to have the addicts stay for three months and so we ask for special prayer for that our this young man would not have a relapse.
Pray for those who are planning for construction and for the procurement of the last remaining documents for the church on the shelter building. Also, pray that God would provide the resources, financial and otherwise, to see this project through to completion.
Pray that Eric would have a safe and productive time for the Church on the Shelter promotional trip beginning April 17th. Also, pray that Beth would be able to hold down the fort in Donetsk while Eric is gone.
As always, we ask for continued prayer for Charity as she studies in Germany and tries to balance all of life's demands.
Finally, pray for the board meetings of the Spiritual Renewal of the Donbas Mission Society this Friday. (Actually, because of the time difference, don't wait until Friday to pray for them.) The mission is at a crossroads and major changes are afoot. Pray for wisdom and guidance from the Source of all wisdom and knowledge.
