I'm sorry you haven't heard from us in about a month, but we have made some changes to our website and mail lists that we hope will better serve you as you continue to pray for Ukraine and for the Yodis family.
Our website is now hosted by imac which allows us to keep the entire website on Yodis.org. This makes updating the site easier for us and cuts out some steps for our friends and readers.
Our mail lister server has also changed. Our former server was not bad, but we found that many good addresses were getting wiped off the list the first time they bounced. Every time we lose a good address to a technical problem, we lose prayer support and so we found this not acceptable.
Here are some other changes: If you have subscribed to our blogs in the past, you may need to re-subscribe since they are now situated in the yodis.org domain. If you haven't subscribed, we invite you to do so by clicking on the RSS subscription feature or simply by flagging the page as a favorite in your Bookmarks listings.
We hope these changes will help us facilitate your ministry of prayer. Thanks for your patience and thanks for your prayers!

From Bomb Shelter to Ministry Shelter
A few years ago, God gave us the vision to purchase property where there was no church. We wrestled with the idea quite a while until it got to the point where we knew we would be guilty of disobedience if we didn't purchase the property. This unique property has a basement facility already built, because during the days of the cold war this property would have been used as a bomb shelter. About three years have passed since the original purchase, and God's leading is becoming quite clear. Property prices have increased 6 to 10 times what they were when this property was puchased. The longer I live, the more I come to realize that it is important to obey your Father, even when what He asks doesn't make sense to you at the time. Praise
Preobrazhenie (Transformation or Transfiguration) Church of Lisichansk, Lugansk, Ukraine celebrated it's 10th year anniversary last Sunday. Preobrazhenie is one of the first churches started through Project 250 in eastern Ukraine.
Though Charity was sick most of her Winter break, we still had a great time spending time together as a family.
Doug Porterfield of DPA Global thanks those who prayed for him in his recent trip to Senegal. He was able to accomplish a great deal while he was there and was in awe at how God is working amongst the Senegalese.
Yura from Druzhkovka (a city 90km from Donetsk) has sensed the call to ministry in his life and has taken a part time job in the city so that he can come help start the church on the shelter. A small team for launching the church plant has met to pray for guidance regarding outreach and for those in the neighborhood of the Church on the Shelter.
& Prayer Pray for the prayer/outreach ministry of those involved in the Church on the Shelter plant. Just one street has been partially canvassed and the main prayer request is for people they know to stop abusing drugs and alcohol. The second most common request is for health concerns. (Please join us in praying for these concerns as well.)
Pray for all those involved in the Church on the Shelter church plant. Pray for those who are planning for construction and for those who are actively involved in outreach. Pray also that God would provide the resources, financial and otherwise, to see this project through to completion.
Charity and Beth are recovering from the flu and colds even as this is being written. Please continue to pray for their health and strength.
