Sales Secret #43

Setting Powerful Goals: Step Seven
Last time, you determined what area(s) of life really inspire you. Now it's time to take that inspiration and apply it to what you want in your life.

Remember: Inspiration begets Motivation begets Action.

To make this inspiration more real, now you need to create a set of goals with respect to those same areas of life. This is best done through a series of what we call "Motivating Outcomes."

Since you naturally want to produce results in these areas already, this step should be easy and fun. Let your "editing" brain go, and put down on paper a few goals that will keep you moving! (You must choose a minimum of one, but you should have no more than three for the purposes of this exercise.)

Remember, these Motivating Outcomes should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-Sensitive.

From the last Sales Tip...

THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK: Keep sharing what it is that inspires you. And if you haven't done so already, clip out pictures of magazines and make them into a vision board. Your brain works well when it can see precisely what it is you're working for.

Please take a minute and let me know how you're doing out there. How have these tips been helping you?
