How to Select A Professional Company
Dear ,

We hope you had a great 4th of July weekend! Now it's back to our normal routine which means hiring contractors to do work at your home or business. When selecting a company of any kind, ask these 6 questions.

1. Do They Have Good References?
Unfortunately the cleaning industry is filled with uneducated companies. The Clean Team enjoys one of the best reputations around. The area's most seasoned floor covering experts, Interior Designers and Realtors(r) refer our services exclusively. Our reputation ensures that you can trust our company to provide you with the most outstanding service experience ever.

2. What Kind of Experience Do They Have?
The Clean Team has been caring for the finest floors and fabrics for over 27 years. Our staff is experienced with all types of floors, fibers and soiling conditions, no matter how unusual they may be. We are experienced in all methods of cleaning. The Clean Team is known for being able to solve cleaning related problems that no one else can. This insures that whatever your situation is, we will be familiar with it.

3. Are They Well Educated In Their Field?
The Clean Team is committed to the highest order of education and training. Our company is involved in a number of educational processes. Each staff member is thoroughly trained and certified, that's minimum standard. We are certified by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) which is the most recognized body of certification for carpet and upholstery cleaners. Never use a firm that isn't. We hold multiple IICRC designations. This insures that you will get the latest cleaning technology applied to your job.

4. What Systems Do They Use?
The equipment used by a cleaning firm is incredibly important.  The Clean Team  uses only the highest quality, most advanced, state-of-the-art equipment on the market today. The systems we use will get maximum soil removal and maximum spot removal without over wetting your floor or fabric and without leaving a sticky residue behind.

5. Do They Understand Customer Service?
Our mission is to provide you with the most outstanding service experience ever. We are committed to showing up on time, and communicating with you throughout the service experience.  Our technicians will show up in a professionally lettered vehicle, in uniform, ready to serve you in the most courteous manner possible.  A member from our customer service team will follow up with you after your cleaning appointment to make sure you are completely satified with our services.

6. Do They Offer a 100% Money-Back Guarantee?
If you are not thrilled with the service experience you receive from The Clean Team, we will return to your location at no charge and no obligation. If you are still unimpressed, we will issue a 100% refund.

What are those ugly black lines
around
the baseboards and under doorways
?

If you have light colored carpet, you may have experienced these dark lines that appear on the carpet.  This soiling is called filtration soiling because it comes from air passing through the carpet as it is attempting to get through the crack between the carpet and the baseboard or under a closed door.

Sofa & Rug As the air passes through the edge of the carpet pile, this microscopic soiling is deposited there (hence the term filtration soiling). This occurs over a significant period of time and is not noticed until a build up has occurred. This type of soiling is difficult to remove because the soil particles are so fine that they penetrate deep into the carpet pile, sometimes into the backing of the carpet.

Can it be removed? Sometimes. With special products, time and effort, reasonable results can sometimes be achieved. To help prevent filtration soiling, vacuum and wipe the edges of the carpeting on a regular basis. Be careful around the tackstrip on the edge of the carpeting, it could nick your fingers!

Oriental Rug Up Close
Pick Up And Delivery Offered for Area Rugs.

Some area rugs can be cleaned in your home. They will be cleaned according to our carpet cleaning procedures. Some rugs, however, should not be cleaned on location due to inherent cleaning dynamics and certain soiling conditions.

In-Plant Rug Cleaning is recommended for Oriental Rugs and loose woven rugs. They should not be cleaned on location like wall to wall carpet.  The Clean Team cares for the finest to the most basic rugs from around the world.  We will pick your rug up and bring it to our special cleaning plant where it will receive our very thorough cleaning process to get maximum soil and spot removal.  Having your rug cleaned in our plant allows us to give it several treatments for a more thorough cleaning, controlled drying, and the use of various tools that are not available on location.

4 Easy Steps to Clean Up A Spill On Your Carpet and Area Rugs (without damaging them)

STEP 1:  Cover spill with WHITE napkin, paper towels or cloth towel.  DO NOT use colored or printed paper! It might transfer onto the carpet. Be sure to use a THICK stack to absorb as much of the spot as possible

STEP 2: Blot by stepping on stack of towels.

REPEAT THIS PROCESS UNTIL NO TRANSFER TAKES PLACE. DO NOT RUB!!!

STEP 3: Apply Spotting Agent. Warning: Do not use "over the counter" spot removers! They can leave a sticky residue that attracts soil and may discolor your textiles. Our "Spot Out" cleaner can be used or call us to find out what spotters are recommended.

STEP 4:REPEAT  Do not over-wet the spot. Keep blotting until dry to the touch. You may then repeat all above steps.

If the spot does not
come out,  do NOT attempt any further action, as you may set the spot and or damage your textiles. Instead, give us a call.

Please keep in mind that some spots, like an oily substance, require professional care.
