Pick Up And Delivery Offered for Area Rugs.
Some area rugs can be cleaned in your home. They will be cleaned according to our carpet cleaning procedures. Some rugs, however, should not be cleaned on location due to inherent cleaning dynamics and certain soiling conditions.
In-Plant Rug Cleaning is recommended for Oriental Rugs and loose woven rugs. They should not be cleaned on location like wall to wall carpet. The Clean Team cares for the finest to the most basic rugs from around the world. We will pick your rug up and bring it to our special cleaning plant where it will receive our very thorough cleaning process to get maximum soil and spot removal. Having your rug cleaned in our plant allows us to give it several treatments for a more thorough cleaning, controlled drying, and the use of various tools that are not available on location.

| On A Peronal Note ...
I co-lead my daughter's Daisy Girl Scout Troop out of Plymouth and I wanted to share something exciting that our troop is working on. Many of you have met my husband Matthew who has talked about our daughter Rachel, (who is pictured front row far right). The following article was featured in The Old Colony Memorial Newspaper last week.
Project Toothbrush - Daisy Girl Scout Troop #81265
Daisy Troop 81265 is collecting new toothbrushes to send to Rwandan orphans. This projects aids the girls in developing a global perspective. Where "World Thinking Day" introduced them to the world's cultures; this project exposes them to some of the world's inequities. With knowledge comes responsibility and compassion!
After consulting Doctor Lydia Engelhardt, a medical missionary to Shyira Hospital
in Rwanda ( and relative of a Daisy Scout), we learned that toothbrushes are scarce for poor Rwandans. They are also an item that needs replacement every so often. Many Rwandan children have never seen a dental technician.
Our troop of 6 and 7 years olds are very excited about this project. They have a healthy obsession with wiggly teeth, it's a subject that seems to come up at every meeting. They will be using some of their cookie cash for shipping charges, which are very expensive.
The toothbrushes will be handed out to the orphans personnally by staff at Shyira Hospital. There are thousands of orphaned children in Rwanda, due to genocide and disease ( AIDS) . Unfortunately there are not many established orphanages to house the children, so they live outside the hospitals and churches, and receive care and food from the same.
Our Daisies have been collecting freebie toothbrushes from their dentists. If you would like to help our troop in collecting toothbrushes, please call me at our office so I can arrange a pick up time with you or you can drop them off at our office in Kingston. We also have a couple of businesses that have volunteered to have collection boxes ... Lighthouse Gym in North Plymouth at 430 Court Street, or Tranquility Massage Therapy at 152 Court Street, Plymouth ( behind Cartmells).
Toothbrushes should be new and in a package. We will be collecting through June, 2010.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Critz

4 Easy Steps to Clean Up A Spill On Your Carpet and Area Rugs (without damaging them)
STEP 1: Cover spill with WHITE napkin, paper towels or cloth towel. DO NOT use colored or printed paper! It might transfer onto the carpet. Be sure to use a THICK stack to absorb as much of the spot as possible STEP 2: Blot by stepping on stack of towels.
REPEAT THIS PROCESS UNTIL NO TRANSFER TAKES PLACE. DO NOT RUB!!! STEP 3: Apply Spotting Agent. Warning: Do not use "over the counter" spot removers! They can leave a sticky residue that attracts soil and may discolor your textiles. Our "Spot Out" cleaner can be used or call us to find out what spotters are recommended. STEP 4:REPEAT Do not over-wet the spot. Keep blotting until dry to the touch. You may then repeat all above steps. If the spot does not come out, do NOT attempt any further action, as you may set the spot and or damage your textiles. Instead, give us a call.
Please keep in mind that some spots, like an oily substance, require professional care.
