This Saturday, May 21st, come enjoy the spectacular work of Envision visual art students at our Annual Art Show & Film Festival on the CCA campus. One ticket admits you to both events--only $6 for students, $12 for adults. View fabulous creations by Envision Day and Conservatory Art students from 1:00-4:00PM, followed by incredible films by CCA Cinema students starting at 4:00PM.
This event gets better every year--don't miss it!
Also, a special collection will be taken for donations to help Tuscaloosa, Alabama, schools in the wake of the tornado disaster the city experienced on April 27th. Our own cinema department head, Mark Raines, taught television production in Tuscaloosa for eight years prior to coming to CCA, and his students want to reach out to help. Film students will collect checks made out to Tuscaloosa City Schools (for "Disaster Relief Fund") to assist in mitigating the devastation suffered by over one-third of the city. If you are unable to attend the film festival, checks can be sent to CCA, Attention: Envision Cinema.
