An exciting "Thank you!" to those of you who have already signed up to sell or auction artwork at the Art Auction! It has been fun learning about your artistic abilities! We have both students and parents now signed up to sell and/or auction off art work to benefit our school!
We would love to have you or your children participate, as well, by donating any artwork you have created for both the silent and live auctions auctions.
Artwork may include: canvas artwork, photography, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, or other creative work falling into the "art" category .
You may also request an area to sell your artwork! You take home 80% of the proceeds, and the school receives 20%!

3rd Graders Receive Personalized Dictionaries
Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Polhemus' 3rd grade classes received their own personalized dictionaries on Thursday. Mr. Richard Kazell from Rotary Club came to speak to the students and give each of them a dictionary with their name written inside. Our students will use the dictionaries to practice their English mechanics. Before Mr. Kazell left, the students were already reading through and discovering what all they can find in their dictionaries.
In the photo above, Mr. Kazell shares his own experiences about when he was in school as the students listened attentively. |

Creative Teaching Methods Make Learning Fun!
Mrs. Hamrick uses creative teaching methods in order to create a fun, hands-on learning experience for her students. This week 2nd grade students worked on a math activity using magnet letter manipulations and macaroni to learn about making contractions. The students enjoy this method of teaching math!!
