Thank You For Supporting Mission Haiti! | |
"On behalf of the Senior class, I would like to thank our Union family and extended family for all of the generous donations made to our mission trip to Haiti in March. As of today, January 20th, we are paid in full! This means that these seniors, along with all of you, raised almost $60,000 for this trip---something several questioned could happen when we set out on this endeavor. I wish I could share each of the stories I have witnessed these past several months as students from the elementary through the high school have opened their hearts and wallets and sacrificially given. I don't think I will ever forget your faces and sweet offerings. Malachi 3:10 says, "...test Me now in this, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows". And, that is what literally happened...we are overflowing. We can't wait to see what God will do in Haiti as He gives us the opportunity to share in His vision for the world."
