3rd Grade Hands On Learning
The 3rd grade Union elementary students use visual learning aids to illustrate The Lord's Prayer and create a 3D project of the ear!
The students illustrated The Lord's Prayer in order to gain a deeper understanding of the guide Jesus told His disciples to follow when calling upon Him in prayer.

They also crafted a 3D Project of the Ear, in which they recreated the major components of the ear's anatomy that they had been studying in class in order to visualize each part, its location, and function!

What is "SCOOP"?
SCOOP stands for "Student and Community Opportunities with Our Paper." The program is an excellent way for student and community organizations to raise funds and receive promotional space in the Times Record. The program is part of
the newspaper's continued commitment to involvement with area schools and communities.
When you renew your Times Record subscription by filling out the "Scoops" form and designating Union Christian Academy as the school you support, Union will receive $25 for every annual subscription/renewal. Union will receive $10 for every six month subscription/renewal. Forms are available in both campus offices and at the "U" desk on secondary campus.
